Jill Belconis, principal of Jill Belconis Enterprises, LLC

Jill began her career selling mainframe computers for IBM Corporation. In 1984 she transitioned into the residential mortgage banking business. Eight years later she became the President/CEO of Shelter Mortgage Company. Over the next 22 years, she expanded the company nationwide and Shelter became the premier mortgage partnership lender affiliated with real estate companies. In 2014 Jill made a decision to exit the business and form her own consulting firm, Jill Belconis Enterprises, LLC. She now serves as an executive advisor to other CEOs and assists in the areas of strategy, leadership, executive development and business improvement. Jill is certified in the Execution Maximizer™ methodology which successfully helps CEOs execute on their vision, holds the executive team accountable for obtaining measurable results and creates complete alignment throughout the company.

Jill is also working with the Boots2Business (B2B) US military program as an Entrepreneurship Instructor. She is responsible for delivering entrepreneurship training to transitioning military service members located at overseas US military bases. Jill joined the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) in 1997. In 2005 she became the first woman to serve as chapter chair of the YPO Chicago chapter. In 2011 she was elected YPO International Chairman. This is the first time in YPO’s 65 year history that a woman has been elected to this prestigious position.

Jill is the Brand Ambassador for YOUNGER NEXT YEAR at The Aspen Club in Aspen, Colorado.  Her role is to promote living an active and healthy lifestyle which leads to a happy, fulfilling life as you age.  Her passion for health and wellness has been one of Jill’s key drivers to success in her personal and professional life.

Jill resides in Chicago and has three adult children – Alex 27, Sam 25 and Rachel, 23.
